Kids Learn To Skate

Thousands of children have mastered the skills to skate!

This programme focuses on the fundamentals of good skating technique and leads kids through the basic skills before progressing to more complex movements. The learned skills are essential for both figure skating and ice hockey. To celebrate their progress, participants earn badges as they progress and complete the skills required.

Instructors ensure that everyone has a great time with lots of fun games for all ages to reinforce the basic skills. You’ll be amazed at the progress made through the school term! Children as young as 4 can begin to master the skills necessary to compete in figure skating competitions, or go on to play ice hockey. Learning to skate properly has the added benefit of enhancing your child’s sense of balance and increasing the core strength essential for many other competitive sports such as skiing, snowboarding, rugby and soccer.
