Rink All-rounders

We’re on the lookout for people with great customer service skills and a great attitude to join our team as all-rounders! Everyday brings something different, and you’ll need to have the ability to switch between areas around the rink and help out where needed. 

Our all-rounders do a mixture of roles, from booking people in at the front desk and sizing up ice skates at skate hire, to coffees, cooking and stocking the cafe and cleaning - you’ll be part of a wider team helping to provide an enjoyable and safe experience for our customers at the Queenstown Ice Arena - bonus points if you can make a great coffee!

During the Summer season - the Garden Bar is open. As part of this role, keeping the Garden Bar stocked and attending the upstairs area will also be involved.

Cafe Manager

One of the main features at the Ice Arena is our Cafe and Garden Bar! The Cafe Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of both the Cafe and the Garden Bar (operational during Summer). Your role will require you to ensure smooth operation including stock ordering and record keeping. If you have experience with baking/cooking, as a night manager or have been a duty manager, we’d love to hear from you!

Zamboni Driver

Keeping the ice smooth is such an important aspect of the Ice Arena. If you have experience with Zambonis - we’d love to hear from you! As part of this role, you will be a part of the rink all-rounders team with duties such as front desk, skate hire, cafe and cleaning too.
